Chanel Spring 2007 Tweed Fringe Boucle Blazer

Ok, so I had a bet going with my BFF. She said that a blazer and a jacket were not always synonymous items of clothing. I said, no way jose. Turns out the little minx was right. A blazer is in fact a type of jacket, often resembling a suit jacket except that a blazer often has patch pockets with no flaps and metal shank buttons. A jacket, on the other hand, is not a blazer. Go fig. I owe her a coke. Blazer or jacket, i totally heart this little number de Chanel. From their Spring 2007 collection, this bee-yoo-ti-ful blazer also sports signature fringe detailing at the lapels, cuffs and edges. New With Tags & Retailed in stores for $3400. In a size 42. Priced at Decadestwo for $2000. Who loves like we do, ladies? For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@decadestwo.com

Balenciaga Spring 2008 Floral Jacket

The definition of a sculpture is: a three-dimensional piece of artwork created by crafting materials that can be either molded or modulated. We think that applies to Balenciaga's entire Spring 2008 season. So, we'd like to showcase one of the pieces from that collection--also a departure for the young Ghesquiere with a distictive forray into florals--a hyper-constructed
short sleeve gladiator gal jacket with a striped "belt" at the waist. In a size 40. New With Tags, Originally Retailed for $2195, and available at Decadestwo for $1000. For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@decadestwo.com

Chado by Ralph Rucci Pink Sequin Jacket

Ah, Chado . . . who knows what this word means? Well, it's a delicate and beautiful traditional Japanese tea ceremony, where matcha is prepared by a skilled practitioner and served, with light snacks, to a small group of guests. Chado is also one of our favorite fashion lines, courtesy of design guru Ralph Rucci. Allow us to present to you a Chado pink miniature sequined jacket, accented with white gossamer fringe detailing. A Chado for a chado, if you will. Approximately a size 6/8 and in mint condition! Priced at $1200. For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@decadestwo.com

I want a whole lot more than the boy next door.

I want hell on wheels.

Just give me a fine motorcycle.

with a man grownin' out of the seat,

And move aside, 'cause I'm gonna ride . . .

Chanel Cruise 2005 Baby Blue Belted Boucle Jacket

1892 marks the first reorded use of the term baby blue. Baby blue is commonly regarded as a pastel which is a lighter shade of cyan and in the blue color family. New Age philosopher Alan Watts once suggested that police cars of San Francisco be painted baby blue and white and the painting program was implemented in the 1970's--though the cars were later repainted law enforcement standard black-and-white. Such a shame--there's something super chic about baby blue that still commands attention. Like this Chanel Cruise 2005 baby blue boucle belted jacket with rope knotted trim, CC silver button closures and interior chain at the hem. In a size 38 and available for $1300! For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@decadestwo.com

Chanel Fall 2003 Silver Pebbled Jacquard Jacket

Fashion inspiration comes from everywhere and nostalgia fules some of our most favortie looks. So, anytime we're able to look back and pull from Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan, we couldn't be more thrilled. And nothin' but nothin' says "Sorry-Krystal-I'm-moving-into-my-old-art-studio-on-the-Carrington-estate-and-whoops-Fallon-you're-father-is-really-Cecil-Colby" better than this silver pebbled jaquard jacket from Chanel. From the Fall 2003 collection, in a size 40, and in mint condition! Priced at $1000! For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@decadestwo.com

Chanel Navy Boucle Crop Jacket w Sequins

Ok, ladeez . . . pull up a chair and bust out a pencil--it's D2 sequin school! Ah, sequins . . . our favorite decorative flat bead goes way back--did you know she was used on signs and billboards before the advent of neon lights? The word itself has mutli-culti origins and is thought to come from from the arabic word sikka, meaning gold coin. The public mint of the Republic of Venice in was titled la Zecca and in the year 1284, the 3.5 gram golden coins that it produced were called zecchin. In 1478, Turkey debuted a gold coin with same name and Malta followed suit in 1535. The French then adapted that word to sequin and then the english stole it. In cultures where the sequins originated, their display on clothing and headdresses denoted the family's wealth. It was this custom that evolved into the use of these flat little suckers as ornamentation on clothing today. And hey, we love gold coins & we love sequins--the better when combined with a Chanel navy boucle jacket. The size/composition tag are missing but this baby is approximately a size 40. In next to new condition and priced at $900. For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@ decadestwo.com

Chanel Cream Crinkle Leather Jacket

10 Things We Love About Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel:

1. Here nickname is Coco-too f*in cute-meets-chic for words

2. A feminist revolution who completely did way with corset

3. Originally a milliner who got her start placing her hats on the heads of famous French actresses

4. Held a tight grip over the reigns of Chanel by presiding as chief designer from 1909 - 1971

5. Moved into the Hotel Ritz Paris--Her suite is still referred to as the CoCo Chanel suite

6. Met with a fortune teller who told her that the number was her lucky number--so CoCo named her first perfume No. 5 and debuted the scent on the 5th day of the fifth month, May.

7. In 1926, CoCo invented another wardrobe mainstay: the LBD (little black dress)

8. In the same year, she also began experimenting with tweeds, inspired by a trip to Scotland, and created her first tweed skirt suit--now considered a seminal Chanel piece.

9. After closing her couture house in 1939 (only perfumes and accessories were sold in Chanel boutiques), Chanel re-opened the fashion house in 1954 and helmed the House herself at the spritely age of 71.

10. This crinkled leather jacket crafted in a signature boxy Chanel style and features black trimming, CC button closures and signature camellia interior embroidery. Available at d2 for $1500, gently worn and in next-to-new condition! For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@decadestwo.com
