BLACK (AND CREAM) MAGIC

Q: What is a goth's favorite potato chip?
A: Ruffles!
Tee hee hee. Seriously, there's something inside us that misses that goth girl in high school--you know the one who obsessively reread Wuthering Heights every year, listened to Kate Bush, wore a smoky eye and smoked Export A's outside at the end of the baseball diamond.
She had it--that American version of je ne sais quoi and so inspired by her mélancholy, we've picked these two Chanel crinkled silk jackets with camellia appliqués and a gigantic ruffled collar. They're lightweight so perfect as a cover up for summer nights, preferably for one to go somewhere dark and mysterious, like the lower level of the Paris Opera House for a lil' rendez-vous or on a long walk through the English countryside. Heathcliff . . .
*Chanel crinkled silk jackets. From the Spring 2006 collection. New with tags. Originally retailed for $5280 and priced at $2220. For further information or to purchase, please contact: lizzy@decadestwo.com
