Valentine's Day is quickly upon us and we couldn't be more thrilled. Usually the encroaching holiday has us sucking back Jameson's while arranging bouquets of black roses and listening to Johnny Cash, but not this year. We've been shot in the heart and have it big time for Nina Lucas, who's throwing a holiday ball here in town! This year single's mingle at The First Annual Winter ball @ the Alexandria Hotel. The event has no strict Valentine's day theme, so singles are welcome (and don't worry--you might not leave that way)!The extravaganza has a Marie Antoinette costume leitmotif (a place perhaps to wear your new Chanel frocks from the Hautelook sale!) and features among many amazing acts Adele Jacques with John Gold, DJ Justin Miller, treats from Little Flower Company and Audrey Bernstein of www.ohaudrey.com, and our favorite act at any party--an open bar. All proceeds go to 826LA, which sponsors literacy intiatives for kids. And that's some love we can really get behind.
Tickets are $30 in advance/$40 at the door
