Oscar De La Renta Ice Blue Satin Gown

Blue Ice occurs when falling snow lands on a glacier and has the misfortune of being compressed, becoming part of the large ice cube as it makes its way towards a body of water. Drag. Pretty to look at though. The color results from an overtone that the OH molecule creates when it absorbs light at the red portion of the visable light spectrum. The Oscar De La Renta gown below is not in fact crafted out of blue ice (though if anyone could . . .) but rather ice blue . . . satin and features a lingerie inspired interior boned bodice (to keep the twins at full attention) delicate greco-roman halter tie around the neck and in the rear at the ribcage. In a size 6, retailed for $2950 and in mint condition! Priced at $1250. For further information or to purchase, please contact: thegang@decadestwo.com
