My own personal style runs more towards a borrowed-from-the-boys aesthetic than frilly flounces, but there's just something about Alberta's Ferretti's feminine touch that I can't resist. Take this jazzy jacket for example. Crafted with grosgrain ribbon detailing, velvet trim, embroidery and black beading--the square shape of the beads, the neutral color palette and the military inspiration take this form-fitting jacket and make it sweet and light without seeming too girly girl. In fact, I could even rock it with my Ann D combat boots for a softer take on my avant-garde androgynous vision.
