CHANEL Spring 2005 Boucle Dress

Did you know that that word boucle originates from approximately 1890-95, comes from the Old French past participle of the verb "boucler" meaning to curl, and is a yarn with loops that produces a woven or knitted fabric characterized by a rough nubby appearance? We didn't either. But, girl, we know Boucle when we see it. And that goes double for Chanel.

From the Chanel Spring 2005 collection, this dainty dress is fabricated with a metallic threaded boucle and features sheer polka dotted shoulders & pleated front knot bodice and hem trim. This little number is also accented with CC logo pearl button closures in the rear of the pleated front knot. In a size 38 and priced at $1500.
