From Melrose Avenue to Wall Street, good news travels fast. Which is perhaps how we wound up gracing the pages of the Wall Street Journal. A fantastic feature appeared about D2 in today's paper. The article, which includes a slideshow of saucy snaps of Christos and one of our most elegant consigners, Patricia Whitcraft, details a fabulous aspect of our business: the housecall.
Oftentimes, our clients have clothing collections that are so extensive, we have to pay them a visit, rather than set up an appointment at the store. Usually, these visits involve editing our client's entire closet (or closets, renovated rooms for sartorial storage, guest houses dedicated as "walk-ins"), by a keep, store, toss, consign philosophy. And we usually walk away with a treasure trove of goodies: Chanel boucle ordered straight off the runway, Louis Vuitton limited-edition handbags, full Goyard luggage sets, you name it. And most importantly, we get spend a little QT with our beloved clients, who, if you ask us, are the chicest ladies in the world.
If you don't believe us, READ THE ARTICLE! There's PICTURES to prove it!
