She then married Edoardo Fendi in 1925 and together, the lovebirds decided to change the name of the biz to Fendi. Their 5 daughters (the Fendi's were verrrrrry busy apparently and excellent multi-taskers if you ask me) would later come on board the Fendi ship, and the sisters were instrumental in hiring a young german upstart in 1965, named Karl Lagerfeld, to helm the brand.
